| James Aldous was my great-great-great grandfather. He seems to have spent most of his life in the village of Stradbroke in Suffolk where he was born. He married his wife Mary Ann there. She was from Bedingfield, a village about 5 miles south west of Stradbroke. They went on to have (at least) 12 children. He worked as an agricultural labourer and died in his 70s. | ||
