Sarah Biddle

Sarah Biddle was born around 1783 in the village of Coates, near Cirencester. She married Thomas Shill when she was about 28 in 1811 and they seem to have then lived in Cirencester. So far, only one child - Mary Ann Shill - is known and Thomas died in 1838. Sarah lived with her daughter (who had an illegitimate child in 1841 before marrying in 1849) and became an almswoman before her death in 1852, aged 69.
