The name is recorded as both Wallace and Wallis.
The Wallis family was in Deptford in the second half of the 19th Century. It is hard to trace them as the name is very common and also there is the added complication of the variations in spelling. There is an Irish tradition for this side of the family but this link has not yet been found.
